Tsugaru Hishimiya (菱宮津軽) is a character in the Beatmania IIDX series created by GOLI. She was first introduced in Beatmania IIDX 8th style alongside Daruma.
Appearances[]
Tsugaru has reddish-brown eyes, shoulder-legth green hair and pale skin like the other females characters.
Her DJ outfit consisting armor-like red sleeveless top with black turtleneck underneath it with pair of red ribbons on her back, pair of handband on her wirst with black rings on the middle, black skirt with green lining, led warmer-like thigh-high socks, and red and white sneakers. While her casual cloting are most likely feminine and girly.
When she wear her DJ outfit or other outfits, she always tied her her into half twintails. While at school or freetimes, Tsugaru tied her hair into half ponytail.
Profile[]
The only daugther of a wealthy zaibatsu family, Tsugaru is the student council president at the Tokyo Private Boarding School, the same school that Daruma and Xia attends. Her parents have great hopes for her, and she is expected to set the standard for the rest of the students in the school.
Because of this, Tsugaru always stressed about it every day. Her aquintances, Nyah later bring her to around town late at night to blow off steam. She has to sneak in to game centers and clubs that enforce age limits on entry unless if Nyah was there with her. Her cool, professional demeanor from the daytime disappears at night, and she feels free to act more herself.
Through IIDX and any other arcade games, she later fallen to Daruma, who she felt he had a different sort of freedom than she had. Unaware to her, "Daruma" was actually her classmates, Tatsuma Hayuki who initialy doesn't have any interest on her until he was shocked that Tsugaru would visit arcade during night. Tsugaru later eventually learned his identity, but she not dishmised him and they started hangout as usual with Xia later becoming their friend. She tries to make her way into Celica's group, but suffers from insecurity about her own ability to draw people to her.

- Tsugaru appears in the mini-game "Pairs N' Pairs!!" in Konami's game THE ★ BishiBashi.
- Tsugaru appears in Konami's game Bombergirl.
- Tsugaru appears as a robot figure version in Konami's Busou Shinki series.
Trivia[]
- Tsugaru dislikes Duel because his speaking are too weird and Zilch because his hairstyle are too flashy.
- Ironically, she ended up becoming beatmania IIDX 28 BISTROVER's mascot alongside Zilch. It is implied that Tsugaru is no longer dislikes him because his new hairstyle is more neat and less flashy.
- Tsugaru is named after a same name song from DDRMAX2 ~Dance Dance Revolution 7th MIX~ by then former Konami's musician Naoki Maeda.
- Her twintail style is similar like Musa's twintail from Winx Club. Altuogh Tsugaru tied in half twitail, while Musa is tully tied until in Seaon 3 her hair is now longer.
